Your course and race
Water can range from 58–75°F. Wetsuits are encouraged.
The event shifts to a duathlon when conditions make the swim unsafe.
After the swim, carry everything you took to the water or boardwalk back to your designated transition spot. Do not leave gear behind or receive outside assistance.
At Grand Haven, buoyancy shorts are allowed if they are no thicker than 5 mm and cover only the area from hips to knees.
Race weekend and after
Transition opens at 5:30 a.m. Sunday and closes at 7:00 a.m.
Plan for the State Park pass requirement when arriving for the race.
